  • 1 (29 oz) can can peaches in syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted butter
  • 1 cup almond milk milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Drain the liquid from the canned peaches and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish. Top with the cobbler topping, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cobbler topping is golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Pro Tips: Preheat your oven to prevent the cobbler topping from spreading. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving to give the filling time to set. To make it a boozy cobbler, add 1/4 cup of peach schnapps to the peach mixture. Storage: Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. To reheat, bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes. Variations: Try using fresh peaches in place of canned for a different twist. You can also add 1 cup of chopped pecans to the cobbler topping for added texture.
